The centifolia rose comes primarily from Dior's exclusive rose fields in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, located in the heart of the South of France, a region so dear to Christian Dior. Among these fields are the Château de la Colle Noire, his Provençal residence, and the Domaine des Naysses, where his younger sister Catherine, who inspired Miss Dior, cultivated roses.
