Escentric 05
Perfumer Geza Schoen was inspired by the experience of living on a Mediterranean island to create Escentric 05, a summer fragrance that moves away from the typical artificial marine notes. His goal was to evoke the warmth and ambiance of the Mediterranean through a combination of natural elements.
Olfactory Notes:
- Top notes: Bergamot (light) and orange (bright and cheerful).
- Heart: Bay and rosemary (spicy freshness), juniper (herbal) and cypress (dry and spicy).
- Base: Cistus labdanum (sweet, leathery, balsamic), mastic (clean and penetrating, like freshly cut branches), and cashmeran (dry, radiant, warm, woody with a hint of pine resin). Also included is a subtle fig, with the bitterness of the leaves and the ripeness of the fruit.
Other Features:
The fragrance contains approximately 15% cashmeran, which gives it a warm, piney undertone. The inclusion of fig is due to the presence of a fig tree near the perfumer's home on the island, seeking to evoke an authentic feeling and the happiness of summer by the sea.
