Reusable hygienic mask approved with UNE 0065:2020 standard granted by the official textile research institute AITEX with number 2020TM1726.
They are made of three-layer compacted fabric with initial bacterial filtration efficiency >96.5%(BFE),which is proven as well as their initial differential pressure breathability of <37(Pa/ cm2) in accordance with UNE-EN 14683:2019+AC:2019.
The number of laboratory accredited washes to maintain performance according to 0065:2020 is a minimum of 5 washes.
The materials used in this mask withstand multiple washing cycles without losing their original appearance.
INDIVIDUALLY EMBOLIZED are delivered with indications of USE and CARE.
Masks, for hygiene and safety reasons, are neither changed nor returned.
Mask care
The washing and drying should be as follows:
- Washing and disinfection at 60o, performing a complete cycle of washing (wetting, washing, rinsing) using the usual detergent.
- Contact with dirty mask and clean clothes should be avoided.
- The person in charge of washing it must be protected to handle dirty masks (use of gloves).
- Do not use products that may degrade or damage mask materials and decrease their protective capacity.
- It is recommended that the mask dry completely within 2 hours of washing. It should not be used if it is wet or dirty.
- It should not be dryed or sanitized with a microwave oven.
- Both during drying and in the subsequent storage of the mask, the environments in which the masks can be re-contaminated should be avoided.
- After each wash cycle a visual inspection should be done (remembering to wear protective gloves or washed hands). If any damage to the mask is detected (lower fit, deformation, wear, etc.) the mask should be discarded.
- For comfort and hygiene reasons, it is recommended not to wear the mask for longer than 4 hours. In case it is moistened or deteriorated by use, it is recommended to replace it with another.
- The mask should be washed every time it gets dirty, moistened or cannot be placed properly.
Removing the mask
Masks should be discarded in a container equipped with a plastic bag (preferably with lid and non-manual control). It is recommended to use double bag to preserve the contents of the first bag in case of tearing of the outer bag.
